1. Binding Agreement & Jurisdiction

By accessing or using apawlogy.com (the "Site") and purchasing APAWLOGY hardware, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising from these terms shall first be submitted to mandatory mediation at the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC). You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts.

2. The Third-Party Ecosystem Disconnect (Critical)

​

• Hardware vs. Software: APAWLOGY is a designer of physical pet hardware. Our "Smart" features utilize third-party applications, specifically Tuya and SmartLife.

• No Ownership/Control: APAWLOGY does not own, develop, or control the Tuya or SmartLife apps. We have zero access to your personal data, login credentials, or the real-time data processing handled within these apps.

• Connectivity Liability: APAWLOGY is not liable for any failure of the hardware to perform "Smart" functions (such as scheduled feedings or water flow notifications) if such failure is caused by:

  1. Third-party app server outages, bugs, or software updates.

  2. Local Wi-Fi instability, router configurations, or ISP outages.

  3. User failure to properly configure the third-party app.

• Mechanical Integrity: If the physical components of the device (motor, pump, structure) are functional, APAWLOGY has fulfilled its mechanical warranty. Software-based "sync" issues are governed by Tuya/SmartLife's terms.

3. Pet Welfare & User Responsibility

• Non-Autonomous Care: APAWLOGY products are assistive tools for pet care; they are not a substitute for human supervision.

• Human-In-The-Loop: You are legally required to manually verify food and water levels and ensure the mechanical operation of the devices.

• Assumption of Risk: You agree that any health-related decisions made based on data displayed in the third-party app are made at your own risk. APAWLOGY is not responsible for any pet health outcomes, distress, or injury resulting from a technical disconnect or app malfunction.

4. Clinical & Medical Disclaimer

• Informational Only: Content and data provided by APAWLOGY hardware/software are for general monitoring only and do not constitute veterinary or medical advice.

• No Diagnosis: Our products are not medical devices. Always seek the advice of a qualified veterinarian for any pet health concerns.

5. Intellectual Property & Prohibited Use

​

• Ownership: All hardware designs and the "APAWLOGY" brand are our exclusive IP.

• Anti-Tampering: You are strictly prohibited from attempting to decompile, reverse-engineer, or flash unauthorized firmware onto Apawlogy hardware. Any attempt to bypass the third-party app's encryption or "scrape" data for disparaging comparison studies will result in immediate legal action and a claim for liquidated damages.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, APAWLOGY's total liability for any claim—whether in contract, tort, or pet-related injury—is strictly capped at the original purchase price of the hardware unit in question. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (including veterinary bills or emotional distress).

7. User-Generated Content

​

By tagging @APAWLOGY or uploading media to our site, you grant APAWLOGY a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that content in our marketing materials and "Visual Factory" productions.

8. Modifications

​

APAWLOGY reserves the right to revise these terms at any time without notice. Your continued use of the Site or hardware signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
