The AQUA Spring Filter Kit is built around that. Four layers, two stages, working in sequence:
- Pre-filter, high-density PP cotton — catches hair, dust, and food particles before they reach anything else, and protects the pump doing the work behind it.
- High-density coconut shell activated carbon — absorbs residual chlorine and the compounds that carry taste and odor.
- Ion exchange resin — reduces dissolved metal ions carried through household plumbing.
- High-density fine mesh — a final pass that catches what the first three left behind.
Most replacement filters in this category run a single carbon layer. This one runs four, with under 10% flow resistance, so the water your companion drinks stays as easy to reach as it was on day one.
When to replace
Filter life depends on your household, not the calendar. Singapore's heat and humidity also work your filter harder than cooler climates do.
