At APAWLOGY, we believe that when a pet gives you their whole heart, thoughtful care is the most beautiful way to give yours back. We stand behind our craftsmanship globally so you can focus on the bond that matters most.
1. Global Warranty & Commencement
APAWLOGY provides a one (1) year limited hardware warranty on all core products purchased through our official website or authorized international partners.
The Start Date: The warranty begins on the Date of Delivery (as recorded by the courier/logistics provider) or the Date of Physical Collection.
Contactless Delivery: For "doorstep drop-offs" globally, the courier’s official timestamp serves as the commencement. It is the owner's responsibility to retrieve and inspect the parcel promptly.
Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase (digital invoice or receipt) from an authorized APAWLOGY channel is mandatory for all international claims.
2. Scope of Coverage: Physical Hardware
This warranty applies strictly to physical hardware defects in materials and workmanship.
App & Connectivity: APAWLOGY utilizes the Smart Life / Tuya ecosystem. As these are third-party global platforms, APAWLOGY is not liable for regional internet variations, app uptime, or cloud connectivity. Hardware functionality remains the sole focus of this warranty.
3. The 7-Day “First Impressions” Inspection
To maintain our quality standard and protect against user-inflicted damage, the following must be reported within 7 days of receipt:
Functional Issues: Components not fitting or operating as intended upon arrival.
Cosmetic Standards: Minor variations—including logo alignment within a 2mm industry tolerance—are considered unique characteristics of the assembly process.
Structural Integrity: Claims of "warped" or "out of shape" components must be supported by photos taken immediately upon unboxing.
4. Explicit Exclusions (Zero-Liability Scenarios)
This warranty is void in cases of:
Abrasive & Friction Damage: Peeling or scratching of logos/finishes caused by fingernails, jewelry, or chemical solvents.
Weight & Compression: Warping or deformation caused by placing external weight (e.g., heavy books) on the device.
Improper Care: Scratches caused by steel wool, scouring pads, or boiling water.
Forced Assembly: Damage caused by "man-handling" or assembly that contradicts the User Manual.
Regional Voltage: Damage caused by using incorrect power adapters or voltages outside of the product’s specified range.
5. How to Make a Claim
If your device feels "out of rhythm," please follow our global claim process:
Initiate Contact: Email apawlogy@variantz.com with your order number and a clear video or photo of the hardware issue.
The "APAWLOGY Evolution" Replacement: Since we continually innovate and update our models, APAWLOGY reserves the right to replace a defective unit with the same model or a newer version with similar functions, features, and capabilities.
Shipping & Logistics: For international claims, APAWLOGY will determine the most efficient method of resolution. This may include:
Shipping a replacement part for user installation.
Shipment of a replacement unit.
Note: The customer may be responsible for shipping costs, duties, or taxes associated with the return of the defective unit and/or the delivery of the replacement, subject to local consumer laws.
No Extension: A replacement does not extend or restart the original one-year warranty period.
6. International Statutory Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from country to country.
Local Law Supremacy: In some jurisdictions (such as the EU, UK, or Australia), mandatory consumer guarantees may apply that cannot be excluded. This warranty is intended to supplement, not replace, those statutory rights. Where any term of this warranty is prohibited by local law, that specific term shall be deemed null and void, but the remainder of the warranty remains in effect.
7. Limitation of Liability
APAWLOGY’s sole liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the product. We are not liable for incidental, special, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of kibble, water damage, or pet health issues).
